•The Quest: Your Leadership Architecture•
There is no “dead reckoning” that can be acquired,
no quick fixes to apply,
no sure way, no one tool,
to determine course and speed within leadership events
— even if you, as a leader, have “been there before.”
To be effective,
a leader must wayfind the knowledge
of his or her internal structure of personal intelligences:
— character, (set of qualities that determine your individuality) and
— its fibre (the inherent complex of attributes that determine a persons moral and ethical actions and reactions). *
Successful leadership has shown that
decision-making and decision-executing
arise from the soul:
from the emotions, the intellect, the blood and bones.
Simple, yet complex and ambiguous,
leading in the 21st century requires understanding of
your belief attitude
as well as
your behavior in leading.
These understandings arise
from within your own system of relationships:
they are built by memory and stories of the past, and
they are built by family, friends, your community.
This internal structure is tied together
by the sinew of emotions
and by your mode of learning,
which accepts and rejects information throughout life.
This is your leadership architecture:
How you were built is how you will lead.
Within each one of us is a structure,
an architecture of leadership,
that is infused with God’s call.
Within every person (Romans 12)
is a Leader/ Hero, waiting to be found.
